2026 Roadway Projects

The Castle Pines Village Metropolitan District has budgeted $3.25 million for roadway improvements in The Village in 2026. Work is anticipated to continue until the middle of October. If work is scheduled on your street, you will receive a notification hangtag on your mailbox at least 72 hours in advance.

The District uses Pavement Condition Index (PCI) scores to prioritize roadway work. PCI is a standardized rating system that measures pavement condition on a scale from 0 to 100. Roads are inspected and scored based on the type and severity of distress present, such as cracking, rutting, and surface deterioration. Lower scores indicate roads in greater need of attention. By using PCI scores, the District ensures that repair decisions are data-driven and that available funding is directed where it will have the greatest impact.

The type of work performed will depend on the condition of the road and the expected future traffic. This multi-step process is designed to achieve the best possible results.

This page will be updated frequently with information about upcoming roadway work, schedules, and any changes due to weather or construction conditions.
